Performs recognition of banknote of the second Royal family from images (plays the recognized value in audio), this application was developed as part of a research project, the main objective of the project was to develop an application to help people who have some sort of visual impairment in the recognition of the ballots. The application has a lot to improve, however, can already be used in situations of everyday life where you need to manipulate the ballots Real (go to the market, bank, buy products and etc).

It was developed?

The application uses artificial intelligence techniques to achieve recognize the ballots in several variations, so, so that the application recognizes the values of each ballot was necessary to have a set of ballots image data to train the neural network. To improve application efficiency is required many Real ballot images in various situations and scenarios (wrinkled, shiny, dull, torn, partially occluded among other factors).
Comments:

1 - The application recognizes a value at a time.

2 - The application does not require internet connection. Everything works offline using the computational resources of the Smartphone itself.

3 - The ballot must be at least in a region of 60% of the total size of the Smartphone device screen outside this ratio errors may occur in the recognition because the database used to train the neural network does not have much distant images.

4 - Whenever recognize a value, perform the process at least twice at different positions or turning sides of the banknote, making it increases the hit probability of what the value of the ballot contained in the image (based on probability), this procedure is recommended because the application was developed through research and has not been extensively tested in real scenarios.

5 - All money raised from the application will be used (buy a camera for more training images) to improve the efficiency of it and also add new features in the future.
