The activities of Apex Club was started at 1931. There were three architects who attempted to join the Rotary Club of Geelong. Rotary club has a rule restricting one profession to each club they - Ewan Laird, Langham Proud and John Buchan went on to start a new Young Businessmen's Club of Geelong. After clubs established at Ballarat and Camperdown, The Association was formed, and the three clubs branded as "Apex".

Until year 1990 Apex only allowed gents, but the 2006 in the National Convention decided to merge the gender specific clubs (and boards) that had started into one and for all to accept members of both genders in their clubs.

The last Apex in the Geelong Region (Grovedale), folded in 2015.

during a travel to East Pakistan, Mr. Khan talked about the concept of Apex with some of his close friends in Dhaka. then, a meeting was arranged at the hotel Shahbag, Dhaka at July 19, 1961. 36 young men attended the meeting. Karachi Apex Club's mamber, Mr Mashi Miraza was the honourable Chief Guest.

Tig Thomas Presented the charter certificate to the Apex Club of Chittagong in 1966.

A committee was established at the 4th District 7 Convention at Comilla.

Representatives of the Apex Clubs of Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, Comilla, Barisal, Narayanganj and Jahangirnagar were present.
