About the South Australian Cancer Trials Network app

The South Australian Cancer Trials Network app is here for people affected by cancer, and their treating clinical teams to more easily identify a trial open in South Australia (SA). The app is populated by all sites in SA running cancer trials, covering both public and private settings. The app is supported by the SA Cancer Trials Network (SACTN) – a new initiative in SA to optimise the functioning and support for all cancer trials running across the state.

The SACTN will impact on clinical trials capacity in SA by building on current initiatives like the Adelaide Cancer Trials Education Collaborative, addressing already identified gaps, and establishing multiple stakeholder input and consensus on an appropriate path forward to delivering a best practice, forward-thinking, proactive network.

Alongside its core functions of supporting consumers, clinicians and trial sites, and generating and attracting new cancer trials for SA, the SACTN will enhance state-wide cancer treatment and care initiatives to better support optimal cancer care for all South Australians.

Please contact Greg Sharplin (University of South Australia) should you have any comments or questions regarding the SA Cancer Trials Network app.
