The application of Forró Zé de Tonha's band was created to promote the work and the agenda of presentations of this group of artists that already has a captive audience in Salvador.

O Zed
The sound of the group Zé de Tonha is the forró fusion of musical rhythms, recreating with originality the language of xote, baião and xaxado. A sound that is also urban, and brings a band formed by the musicians Super Tom (guitar and voice) Pedro Mutti (acordeon) José Evandro (zabumba) Gilson Conceição (triangle and effects).

The band completes 17 years of performance in the Bahian music scene, present in the main cultural events of the capital and the interior of the State. Zé de Tonha offers a show that engages the public in a climate of fun, interactivity and rescue of our cultural roots, with an irresistible hint of humor and improvisation. In addition to the musicians such as Tio Lima, Vamo for full moon, Café Expresso and Eh Coração, the band brings hits by Luiz Gonzaga, Jackson do Pandeiro and Dominguinhos, as well as Bahian composers and established artists such as Moraes Moreira, Vander Lee and Gilberto Gil

According to Super Tom, leader of the band, "in this new phase, the group consolidates its references and reaches the musical maturity, inaugurating a period of expansion of the race. In 2018, the band was in season at the traditional Teatro Raul Seixas in Salvador, with the project Zé de Tonha Cultural, which opened the program of rehearsals for São João and held music training workshops for children, youth and adults.
