- The game consists of several levels, which you can win by reaching the score indicated at the beginning of each level.
- To kill boars, at first you have a bolt action rifle.
- The wild boars will appear on the screen in groups of eight.
- If you manage to shoot down a minimum of four pigs, you may exchange the rifle for a 5-bullet magazine repeater. If you manage to kill all eight boars, you may continue with the automatic rifle, otherwise you will have to go on with the bolt action rifle.
- The score will increase according to the number of boars killed in each group; if you manage to shoot down all eight pigs, you'll get a minimum of 90 points, to which you can add 10 extra points for each animal that you gun down from a head-on or rear-end shot angle when they're running.
- Young boars will only earn you a point and will not count towards the general score of each group.
- The maximum number of fails allowed is 5, but you can get extra fails if you shoot down seven boars from each group. Starting from Level 7, you will need to kill all eight.
- Keep in mind that you cannot hit boars while they're behind a tree or semi-hidden in the mountain, you can only shoot them when they're in the open.
