CalCalc is an easy and lightweight app that helps you figure out your Total Daily Expenditure (TDEE), Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), Body Mass Index (BMI), and preferred macronutrient split!

Knowing how many calories your body burns in a day helps greatly in your journey to lose or gain weight. This calculator will support you in your goals with a minimal and easy-to-use interface.

TDEE -
Your total daily energy expenditure is calculated using the Mifflin St Jeor equation for BMR. TDEE is found by multiplying your BMR by a number relative to your activity level. You can eat fewer calories than your TDEE to lose weight, or more calories than your TDEE to gain weight.

BMI -
Body mass index can be used to screen for weight categories that may lead to health problems but it's not diagnostic of body fatness or health of an individual. Factors such as age, above average muscle mass, and pregnancy can make BMI irrelevant to you.

FFMI -
Fat Free Mass Index is a calculation using your height, weight, and body fat percentage. It tries to account for the amount of lean mass a person carries in correlation to their height and weight. FFMI can give you an idea of how close you are to the body's natural muscle limit. There are different relevant FFMI number ranges for men and women.

Macros -
Protein, carbohydrates, and fat each have a certain number of calories per gram. This calculator takes the amount of calories you would like to eat and gives you a macronutrient split. A pie chart is displayed to show you the amount of protein, carbs, and fat (in grams) based on those calories and a selected split. These splits include: bodybuilding, high performance, weight loss, ketogenic, and custom.

Supports imperial units in inches and pounds, and metric units in centimeters and kilograms.
