We recognize the value of Military Police and Firefighters! They are cohesive institutions, composed of good men and women, who leave their families every day, to protect our families, risking their own lives in the face of the violence and abandonment that crushes our society! His oath: commitment to the dignity of all people, respect for human rights and protection of all of us, even with the sacrifice of our lives!

For many, military police and firefighters are made of stone and resist everything because they are not afraid of fires and climbing mountains, use a firearm, bulletproof vest and have been trained to be superheroes! True, they are heroes, really! However, they do not have superpowers and it is men and women, fathers and mothers, sons and daughters, like anyone else, who are willing to do the "dirty service" that most would not have to do, which is to protect life and society in situations of crime and sinister!

The International Labor Organization considers its work to be the second most unhealthy, and this stems from permanent contact with disasters and serious social ills, such as death, poverty, hunger, drug addiction, crime, pollution and shattered lives, social vulnerability and victimization. Also, at the end of their service, even having done their duty, they are often criticized by thousands of people who do not understand the burden of being in charge of keeping order so we can live our lives normally!

The work of these professionals is pure irrationality, because they deal with forces that are often greater than they are! Thus, they are decimated by reality, shot by ruthless criminals, buried by a falling building, or always by strenuous service! But, that's not all! Wherever they may be, their helmets, heavy jackets, weapons, vests, and skilled training are no match for stress, mental fatigue, depression and exacerbated anxiety, motivated by a state of permanent attention, by a constant storm of emotions, which need to be contained, as if they did not exist, because they are the men and women of the law, who can not fail, when everything and everyone else has already failed!

The emotional problems arising from the work of the policeman and the military firefighter are responsible for several mishaps in their careers and personal lives! Many need psychological-psychiatric support, medicines for emotional control, become chemical dependents, see their families unstructured, their quality of life mitigated, their health drain, their opportunities diminish, their sense of discipline collapses! Yet, as valiant as they are, they continue to show themselves to the world, as if they were really made of stone, tough, confident, and morally unshakable, yet five minutes before they attempt suicide!
