The importance of having basic knowledge in first aid can save lives at critical moments, learn how to react to a choking, an accident, an electric shock or a heart attack while the ambulance arrives with a doctor, can be crucial for life in accidents .
In our application we teach you what you can and can not do in an emergency (cardiopulmonary resuscitation ... etc) and how to help the victim while help arrives for his transfer to the hospital and be helped by the medical staff.
What you have to keep in mind are some basic steps:
1- Keep control, do not lose your cool.
2- Before giving first aid assess the accident area and ensure there are no risks to your life and that of others.
3-Check the status of the victim and if it is an emergency (consciousness, breathing and circulation) wounds check to see if it responds.
4-Ask for help notify the ambulance of your situation and emergency caused by accidents.
5-In case of suffocation (maneuver maneuver of Heimlich is for when someone who chokes and in minutes can lose his life.
6-Basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is the maneuver to help when the heart has stopped (consists of a combination of chest compressions and compressions that give an external cardiac massage.
We must also know that the wounds, blows, scratches ... etc should be applied and cleaned with cold water and before fractures immobilize while the ambulance arrives.
The wounds that cause bleeding should apply compression with a gauze and never remove the first one although it is stained with blood, simply apply another clean one on it.
