This is the official app for the 39th Veerstichting Symposium "Choosing Vulnerability". On 20 & 21 September several (international) speakers will give their view on the theme "Choosing Vulnerability".

Since 1979 the Veerstichting has brought together top students and the so-called 'designers of society'. The foundation was established with the aim to promote dialogue between these generations. By means of an annually changing theme, relevant, social topics are discussed. On the basis of this theme, the Veerstichting facilitates unique encounters between generations with diverse backgrounds, interests and professions. From student technical physics to student law, from CEO to artist; de Veerstichting makes unique encounters between generations possible.

We believe like no other in the power of human interactions as a source of knowledge and inspiration. By exchanging special experiences, ideas, visions and viewpoints, a unique meeting between student and designer is created. This exchange is co-facilitated by national and international top speakers. De Veerstichting builds a bridge between the two generations so that they can come to new insights about people and society. This contributes to the personal development of those involved and inspires the formation of new ideas.
