Madura United FC is an Indonesian football club based in Pamekasan, Madura. The club was previously named Persipasi Bandung Raya which was the result of the merger of Persipasi Bekasi with Pelita Bandung Raya which at that time competed in the Indonesian Super League. The owner of Persipasi Bandung Raya, Ari D. Sutedi finally sold his club to Achsanul Qosasi, and then transformed into Madura United FC. Now, Madura United has become one of the strongest clubs in the Indonesian premier league.
