Although busy singing and performing, Rossa managed to complete college at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia in February 2002. In the same year, Rossa released the album Kini (2002) which was still dominated by sad songs like in previous albums. On the album Now, Rossa sang nine songs by nine songwriters, including Iszur Muchtar, Yovie Widianto, and Melly Goeslaw.
