Ricardo Augusto Felicio, native of São Paulo, attended primary and junior high school in a municipal public institution. Since 1979, he has been a Boy Scout, held dozens of camps where he learned the synergy with nature. He did military academy for a year, but continued in technical school of computation, considering that entered this branch from 1983.
A practicing Catholic, he came from a simple family, with relative comfort. He spent much of his life on the coast of São Paulo, on the island of Guarujá, where he got his taste in learning the wonders of the ocean and the atmosphere. This taste influenced his decision to study baccalaureate in Meteorology at USP, combining his computer skills that would be used in the observations and analyzes of the atmosphere and ocean. With military experience, living with nature and a taste for science, together with friends who had the same characteristics, including military activities, joined the team of external activities, from 1986 to 2003, where hundreds of exploration missions were carried out .
In 2000 he participated in the XVIII Brazilian Antarctic Expedition, where he spent a month in the Antarctic continent aboard the Oceanic Support Ship "Ary Rongel" and the Antártica Comandante Ferraz Station. In 2001-2002 participated as Meteorologist of the EACF in the XX Brazilian Antarctic Expedition, mission this one with complete duration of three months, that helped in its research of Master.
He graduated from the Institute of Atmospheric Sciences of the University of São Paulo (USP) in 1998, as a Bachelor in Meteorology, 2003, and obtained a Master's Degree in Meteorology from the National Institute for Space Research, and in 2007, in just 27 months, he obtained his Doctor of Climatology , in the area of Physical Geography, in the Department of Geography of USP, with the Prize of Distinction, where he defended his research on the Extratropical Cyclones in Antarctica. In 2008 he began his work as a PhD in the Department of Geography of USP, making the Antarctic research his constant, elaborating the largest geographic catalog climatological on extratropical cyclones in the sector of the Antarctic peninsula. Such research generated his work of Free Teaching, the last title to be conquered, but that was neglected in 2014 by the political questions that permeate the universities today, since there was not even a reasoned comment to disrupt his work. In addition, it continued to carry out parallel research on the theme of "climate change" and "global warming", demystifying the false science involved in geopolitics. Today, after the unjustified lowering of his work regime, after ten years of activities within the university, he only continues as a teacher in a partial work regime, ministering the courses of climatology of the university. Even with all the adversities imposed by the system by groups using the public machine and power relations, it continues to carry out harsh criticism of the supposedly climatic scientific imposture and demonstrates all the geopolitical and geo-strategic plots on the subject, where ideological flags and interests , not even veiled, are present.
