Finslator is a small background service that runs on top of any other Android application. Whenever a word is copied to the clipboard, it will resolve the stem(s) of a word and translate them in a small popup. For example if you copy 'syistä' it will translate syy and show the english translation for it.

What makes this application special is that instead of switching apps to look up words it does the work for you. You can use this app with other apps like a regular browser or kindle ebooks. It is mostly targeted at users who already know some Finnish but lack enough words to read through Finnish texts. With this app you can look up words, even if they are not in their basic form. All you have to do is mark the word and copy it to the clipboard and the app will figure out the stem and offer possible translations.
