This application is a tool of Writing with the Writer, an initiative that makes use of digital media and the arts to stimulate reading and writing among students from the earliest years of public schools and bring them closer to writers of the works read.

To be developed, it counts on the collaboration of qualified professionals in different areas such as pedagogues, teachers, academics, dancers, musicians and actors. The children involved prepare themselves with the guidance of these professionals and their teachers in schools to receive writers by reading their books, getting to know their biography and organizing activities to honor them.

Parallel to this, children and writers maintain a blog (http://escrevendocomescritor.blogspot.com/) where they write and illustrate stories, poems, poems, virtual fights, and use audiovisual resources to get to know each other better. The activities culminate in the encounter with the writer in his schools, the day in which theatrical pieces adapted from the books read, dances and songs are presented. Writers and readers get to know each other personally during animated chats and books are released.

In order to further increase the involvement of students, teachers and authors, we have developed the APP WRITING WITH THE WRITER. In it they perform reading and writing challenges, take photos and add custom stickers or frames, interact and know each other better, among other play activities of interest to children.
