This app provides basic information regarding how to prevent diseases of the liver and also, on how and where to seek help, if any person is detected to have viral hepatitis infection.

The information in this app is aimed at people in developing countries and for populations where the health service delivery is still fee for service. There is no scientific compromise entertained throughout the narratives and they also are helpful to all populations, the world over.

It is known that about 400million people are infected with hepatitis B, for instance. However, the majority of these persons live in countries where resources are limited to take care of them.

In some situations, patients are diagnosed to have hepatitis at the point when cancer of the liver has advanced. Also, whenever incidental diagnoses of viral hepatitis are made, patients are thrown into a frenzy, with little or no information as to what to do.
In desperation, some of these patients have resorted to traditional/alternative medicinal remedies, which has led to further deterioration of liver damage and earlier deaths.

In the age of massive roll out of smart phones, this app is a modest attempt to provide basic uncomplicated information to people regarding the liver and its diseases.
