IMPORTANT
The APP Walk Franciscans in Sicily allows you to enjoy walking trails, cycling and horse riding, in complete autonomy, even without internet signal, provided it is equipped with mobile devices equipped with a GPS system, you need to make sure it is already activated before departure. For a better yield JPA, minimum requirements (quadcore, 2 giga of ram)
For a correct use JPA we suggest, moreover, to carry out the download of the map corresponding to the selected path, before departure, preferably in a place with an efficient WiFi network.
The steps to follow:
1. Select the route you want to go (on the app paths are divided by trekkers, bikers and riders identifiable by their logos on photographs);
2. Open the relative path to the page, and scroll to the map preview;
3. Click on "Show Route" and wait for the loading of the map;
4. Increase the zoom of the map to contain the entire route in a single screen;
5. Then click on "Download map" and type the path name in the "Enter Title", then click "download" and wait for the app to complete its job (usually takes a few minutes more and according to the network you uses);
6. After the download, you'll find the map you just downloaded by clicking on "Download Map" button;
7. From "Maps downloaded" you can select the map of your interest to use it to perform the selected path.
Once chosen the path to be eligible, it is advisable to always check, within the description set forth in the APA, if they are recommended (or necessary, in some periods of the year) detours along the main route. In this case, if it is decided of wanting to perform, it was asked, also in this case, to download a track before leaving for the same path.
