The Tile Hunter Barcelona is a cultural and collaborative project born of chance, whose main concern is the rapid recovery and conservation of the entire hydraulic pavement that is wasted daily in the streets of Barcelona. In 2014 some friends found three hydraulic tiles lying on the street and picked up waiting to do something with them, 4 years later and stored over 32,000 trying to give them a second life.

What is a hydraulic tile? The hydraulic tile cement pieces are handmade and with the help of a press. They experienced their first boom 150 years ago and Barcelona was one of their biggest sources of growth and innovation. There are plenty of designs and colors.


For some years these gems heritage are pulling daily.
