Step By Step Guide To Install Freemindtronic (FMT) using BlueStacks
- Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
- Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. ⚠️ Note for Android 14 users:
The current version (V3.0.0) functions perfectly. However, it encounters an issue with pairing to web browser extensions such as EviCypher Webmail, PassCypher HSM PGP, and DataShielder HSM PGP, which are necessary to use NFC HSMs on a computer. We have identified the cause: the integration of Google’s SDK 34. Freemindtronic is working to restore pairing compatibility with this SDK. In the meantime, it is recommended to use the previous version (V2.1.8 - SDK 33), which remains fully functional with Android 14.
