GeoMama is a real time vehicle tracking and fleet management system developed & maintained by Geo&Logic GIS Solutions LLC, Dubai U.A.E.

GeoMama is able to track your car anywhere via the GSM/GPS enabled device that transmits your pinpoint location. Our Automatic Vehicle Locator (AVL) software displays the current location of your vehicles via a standard web browser. Dispatchers and vehicle enthusiasts can quickly and easily identify their vehicles on the Internet, saving valuable time with point-and-click simplicity.

The Automatic Vehicle Locator computes an exact latitude and longitude position when it receives data from at least 4 GPS satellites. This position and certain other data such as heading (direction), speed and time are encoded, compressed and sent over the GPRS/GSM network to the Control station.

- The frequency of the signals is set.
- Any change in state of the digital inputs also results in a position signal being sent.
- Besides time, speed, position and heading, other telemetry parameters can also be monitored.
- Data is sent in an encrypted format, so it cannot be decoded by anybody except the intended receiver.
- The time interval between position signals can be set or changed from the Control Station or the end user's screen.
- The map has various 'zoom' levels and landmark registrations which allow one to view a smaller area of the map in greater detail.
- The client can select the vehicles he would like to track and multiple vehicles can be identified by giving them different color icons.
- The time interval between position signals is set to send a signal every 99 minutes if the vehicle is stopped and at every 1Km when travelling.
- There is an option to view the history/track of the previous positions on the current route, e.g. one can choose to view the last 5 positions, 100 positions (any number) etc. for a particular vehicle. The map will then display the current location of the vehicle (which will be constantly updated) together with specified number of previous positions selected.
- The Control station sends the decoded data from the Vehicle to the Web server. The Web server displays the position of the vehicle together with any other data specified, on the map. The data is also stored in a database, so that it can be played back and a record kept for future use. When a client logs into the web server, he is identified through his user name and password.
- observe your fleet
- search a vehicle
- call a driver
- disable/enable a vehicle remotely
- get vehicle information
- get direction to the vehicle on the map
