SAFINA Humanitarian International (Support System for Training and New Initiatives in Africa) is a non governmental organization based in Dakar, Republic of Senegal, recognized by Decree No. 5278 FFR / DDC / D.ONG 1 July 1998. Between 1995 and 1998, the organization existed as an association recognized by the Ministry of interior with receipt No. 8647 / MINT / DAGAT / DL / aS 31 January 1995.

The main objective of the NGO International Humanitarian SAFINA is to contribute to the fight against poverty and its consequences by improving the living conditions of vulnerable people, regardless of race, sex, religion or opinion. The SAFINA FM radio, created in January 2014, is one of the tools implemented by the NGO to achieve its objectives, putting here before education and awareness. The creation of the NGO and Safina Fm is the work of Thierno Hamidou Bane moral head of the NGO International Humanitarian Safina and Imam Ratib Scatt Urbam surrounded by a dedicated team of volunteers of different profiles and skills.

SAFINA FM is a community radio broadcasting on the 98.2 frequency and is located in the largest town of Yoff, specifically in the area of ​​Scat Urbam. The radio has a presentation studio or are carried newsletters and emissions released directly as well as a sophisticated room well equipped for radio technology .In addition also has a second studio dedicated to recordings and montages, a large newsroom for journalists and an office for management

The SAFINA radio is listened through a program that affects a very large audience. The radio has a dynamic team that has set one goal to inform, educate and guide people to achieve their potential. Safina The radio covers the entire Dakar.

The FM radio with SAFINA resolutely opted for the development of communities that are in its coverage area by promoting behavior change, offers religious programs, cultural and society on education, health, the environment. Among them we can mention:

The Safina Fm radio broadcasts daily from Monday to Friday, from 06h to 00h.

One feature of FM radio SAFINA is the development of national languages. Pular, Wolof, Serer, Bambara Socé, Pular of Guinea are spoken at the antenna.
