Changes in the mindset of participants through FDS
Family Capacity Building meetings if carried out routinely by PKH facilitators are very beneficial for participants. Participants are taught and provided by facilitators about the importance of education and health, management of family finances, how to care for children and so on.
If assistance received by participants intervenes in participant expenditure, verification prepares human resources for PKH participants' ART. Then the Sesion Development Family is expected to change the behavior and mindset of the participants themselves. Changes in the mindset of participants are expected to lift participants from poverty. The FDS implementation is adjusted to the group meeting activities by not charging participants. For this reason, a mutual agreement between the facilitator and participants in determining the schedule will affect the quantity and quality of FDS implementation.
Each discussion group was conducted by 1 companion to 15-20 PKH member households who lived nearby. The time and location of the meeting was agreed between the companion and PKH participants, with the principle of not charging PKH participants.

The facilitator has been provided during the FDS Technical Guidance and has been assisting participants in their respective villages. Thus the companion has its own way of implementing and the right method related to the implementation of FDS. FDS implementation is expected to be carried out routinely as well as the initial verification of participants to schools and posyandu because they fear that assistance will be cut off, after several years of PKH implementation there is an awareness of the importance of education and health, FDS is also the presence of prioritized participants.
