In this post, I am going to show you how to install MiClock - Stacked Clock Widget on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Step By Step Guide To Install MiClock - Stacked Clock Widget using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen

Features:

- Automatic widget resizing based on available size
- Alignment of the widget in relation to the available area, both vertically and horizontally
- Option to use 24-hours, AM/PM or honor the current system setting when displaying time
- Option to enable or disable starting the device default application for clock/alarms
- The widget can be added to your lock screen as well (Android 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4 only*, on selected devices)

WARNING: There is a known issue on some Samsung, Huawei and Xiaomi devices (and possibly others too) related to system provided task killers that are interfering w/ the widget's operation.

In case the widget is not updating properly please make sure that the MiClock Simple app is added to any task killer's whitelist or autorun settings, and it is excluded from any memory/battery optimization app that might be installed on your device.

MIUI: For MIUI based devices please make sure that you mark the MiClock Simple application to be automatically run - go to Security->Permissions->Autostart and allow MiClock Simple to autostart, then reboot the device.
