Taraz Tour is a unique mobile application that includes a large amount of functionality for popularizing historical, cultural and tourist places of the region. To date, 20 objects of Zhambyl region have been digitized in the application, in the plans of the project to digitize all historical, cultural and tourist objects of the region. Thus, with the help of this application, we would like to increase the interest in understanding the history of the region for domestic and inbound tourism. The mobile application consists of audio and textual information in 5 languages, with elements of augmented reality, which allows tourists to get information in their convenient interpretation. In addition, the location is hammered into the base, the route how to get to this place. Users can leave comments that will help keep track of the interests of tourists for further development. The application itself consists of five important components.
1. AR - improving the perception of information with the help of augmented reality in the style of historical characters.
2. VR 360 - 360-degree videos that create virtual reality and “Presence Effect” on sacred places in Zhambyl region.
3. Offline mode - the mode of operation without the Internet, which allows tourists to use the application even in places where there is no Internet coverage.
4. Tourist guide - the application integrates with all tourist facilities, hotels and restaurants for remote access for visitors and local tourists.
5. Full analytics of attendance of objects.
