This simple chorus app you are reading was borne out of the desire to see God glorified through songs. Choruses, set the mood for worship and prepare worshipers for the message of the day. Through songs, souls are touched and saved while believers are refreshed. If these goals are not achieved by a chorus leader, then it is not worth the effort. I cannot express the pain I usually feel when chorus leaders, who are supposed to prepare the heart of worshipers, through their songs, whether in a Church assembly or an open air programme, sing without pronouncing the wordings (Lyrics) of their songs correctly; while others sing out of context by singing songs that do not point to the message the congregation is about to listen to. This often gives the minister the extra task of first preparing the heart of his listeners, which the chorus leader ought to have done, before delivering his message.

Furthermore, chorus leaders often change keys at will giving the instrumentalist or organist the challenge of locating the new key. The change in key not only makes the players look ill-prepared and immature but disrupts the flow of worship. In addition, some chorus leaders are unstable and drift from one rhythm to another. A song leader for instance may start a song on a two-two clapping pattern (rhythm) and all of a sudden jumps to a song with a three-four clapping pattern (rhythm) thereby disrupting the tempo.
