Being an artist means taking risks: artists are dissatisfied creatures by nature, they like to break rules, to reveal the invisible, to cause strangeness, to mess with people and to get them out of their comfort zone. Do you want to tear down the walls of oppression, hypocrisy and prejudice? Do you want to invent other truths? Want to see how art has the power to open new paths and transform the world?
In AURA REMASTERED, the player assumes the role of a street artist who, through the mechanisms of copying, gluing and printing marks produced by the licking arts, stencil and other techniques, creates strategies that will lead him to discover new life forms and world, represented by mysterious animated gifs. Each art proposed by the artist (patches or lambs) has its own characteristics and, when multiplied and glued on an oppressive wall, allow the artist to glimpse, as he advances, another universe inhabited by strange and mysterious forms through the fissures. Some can make it jump, over barbed-wire fences and pipes; others, in air transport format, can take you easily from one place to another; incendiary figures carbonize and modify elements of the scene, helping the Artist to use them in his favor as an extra resource to proceed towards the openings or print their marks. Their actions will weaken, little by little and at each stage, the structure of the wall, allowing its fall.
There is not a single solution for each stage: the artist-player is creating his own course, as he decides how many and which gear he wants to multiply, in order to proceed and break the wall in order to knock it down completely. At the end of each stage, as the wall penetrates through the cracks, the player is presented with an animated image, and thus glimpses, among the cracks, the existence of incredible landscapes and imaginary forms.
As you discover and improve your copying and pasting abilities, creating new possibilities of use for your lambs and stencils, the Artist, with his art, goes beyond the barriers represented by the oppressive wall into a new scenario of freedom and dream .
If you are willing to use art in the fight against oppression or to give voice to your will to transform the world, this is a game created for you.
