Hill Farm is a large, three-form entry primary school with capacity for 700 children. We currently have 631 on roll. An above average proportion (35%) of our children are entitled to free school meals and the percentage of children who speak English as an additional language is also above average (31%). Approximately 25% of children are identified as having a Special Educational Need. Our children are happy, enthusiastic and keen to learn and their parents and carers are very supportive of the school.

In September 2013, we converted to sponsored academy status as part of the Castle Phoenix Multi-Academy Trust, the lead school of which is Caludon Castle Secondary School in Wyken, Coventry.

In April 2015, Ofsted judged Hill Farm to be good in all five categories. In particular, they highlighted the good teaching and strong leadership, noting that “Teachers have high expectations of pupils’ work and plan interesting activities which engage and enthuse them”.

We are extremely proud of this outcome and it has given us a positive ******** to move forward and continue to build on our many strengths.
