Finally, there were plays such as Saida-Saeni, Pegat-Balen, and Lair-Batin which were so legendary today. In fact, Saida-Saeni's play that ended tragically, always drained the tears of the audience.

But certainly, the name Tarling was not used as a type of music. At that time the name used to refer to this type of music was the Kota Ayu Melodi for the Indramayu and Melodi Kota Udang areas for the Cirebon region. And the name Tarling was only inaugurated when RRI often broadcast this type of music and by the Daily Government Agency (currently the DPRD) on August 17, 1962 inaugurated the name Tarling as the official name of the type of music.

But one thing is certain, the art of tarling today is almost extinct. However, Tarling will forever be inseparable from the history of the Pantura coastal community. Because tarling is their soul, by joining sawer on the stage or just seeing it, and hearing it as if able to eliminate the weight of the burden of life that squeezes. The lyrics of the song and the story told in it, are also able to provide a moral message that is enlightening and entertaining.
