In this post, I am going to show you how to install AutoDiagnosis ML on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install AutoDiagnosis ML using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "AutoDiagnosis ML" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

[Note 2] about Bluetooth: At the moment, support for Bluetooth is not available on BlueStacks. Hence, apps that require control of Bluetooth may not work on BlueStacks.

AutoDiagnosis application is created to apply machine learning in Medical Science. All fields have now Machine Learning and AI based solutions. This application provides a simple mechanism to collect real world's data from Doctors mainly Dermatologists. Data can be pictures of the patient's effected area, symptoms, probable disease etc. These data would be used to train machine learning models and once the model is ready, it starts predicting the disease. This can be applied in other fields of medical science as it matures.

Please note that this app is not made to capture any personal details of the patients. So there should not be any concern about privacy related issues. It just takes the patient ID which can be used to track by Doctor to edit the disease name corresponding to the pictures and symptoms in case another disease is diagnosed instead of the initial one.

This app does not have many mandatory fields so it should be very easy to use with auto suggestions based on the previously filled data. The flow is kept very simple keeping in mind that doctors or their assistants would be main users of the application.

The success of the application is based on the correctness and quality of the data provided. If the pictures are of high quality and symptoms are correctly filled corresponding to the disease diagnosed then the prediction would be perfect.

Each registered user can only see their own data as this app does not allow to share data between users. Data is constantly monitored for quality purposes and irrelevant users and content would be periodically deleted to keep quality data and used for research purpose.
