The Book of Jami 'Ad-Durus al-Lughah Al-'Arabiyyah is well-known among Islamic scholars, and written by a productive' ulama 'and Lebonon national poet, namely Sheikh Mushtafa bin Muhammad Salim Al-Ghulayaini.

He was born in Beriut in the year (1303 H / 1886 AD). When he was a teenager, he then went to Egypt and there he studied with Sheikh Muhammad 'Abduh at the Al-Azhar University and studied the sciences of Shari'a, language and literature. Syeikh Musthofa al-Guhayaini once published An-Nibras magazine while teaching in several Madrasas. He compiled the book of Jami 'Ad-Durus al-Lughah Al-'Arabiyyah using simple and easy-to-understand language for beginners of Islamic Science.

Sheikh Mushtafa divides three juz in discussion with syawahid syair by Muhammad Haurai, so that it can be said that the book of Al-Jami 'includes the encyclopedia nahwu and shoraf.
Regarding the year of his death, he died in Beirut on February 17, 1944, the concurrent year of the Islamic year 1364 Hijrah.
