In this post, I am going to show you how to install UITUK TaskReminder on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install UITUK TaskReminder using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. This app allows you to save your long term tasks to a Google Firebase server and at their deadline you'll receive a reminding email. The data stored on server does not depend on your mobile phone, therefore if you install this app on different phones (Android or iOS) you'll see the tasks you've defined.
Now it doesn't matter if you lose, or sell your phone. The important reminders exists on server and you'll be notified when the time is right (i.e. at deadline).
You'll never miss your plates expiring date, your expiring driving licence and other important events related to a specific date.

For each task you may define: title, description, deadline, recurrence, and an email address where your notification we'll be sent at the deadline.
Recurrence could be: none (the task will be deleted from server after you'll receive the reminder email at deadline), monthly, each X months, each year, or each X years (where X=1-12).
