Great celebrations at the Pharmacy Sant'Antonio di Bissone 40 years
 
 On 27.3.1974, after some vicissitudes, the lakeside village of Bissone witnessed the opening of a pharmacy by the work of Dr. Maria Augusta Corbi of Roman origins, who moved to Ticino to follow her husband in Switzerland for professional reasons.
 
 At that time the pharmacies in Ticino were scarce and there was plenty of choice, the Corbi chose the beautiful lakeside village on the Ceresio to install its business.
 
 It all started under the beautiful arcades of Bissone and then moved after a few years at the entrance of the village in place of the now Sports Bar and in a construction of just 35 m2 quickly occupied the 4 floors of the building to give space to all that served for the management of a pharmacy.
 
 Dr. Corbi, thanks to its origins and its resourcefulness, began in parallel to the pharmacy, a thriving export business to the nearby peninsula that continues today.
 
 In 1987 the current owner Dr Christoph Blaser arrived first as a manager and then as owner to resume and further develop what started.
 
 The number of collaborators increased and activities developed towards new destinations.
 
 In 1998 the pharmacy moved to the premises currently occupied on the Piazza della Posta, a place of frenetic daily movements mainly generated by the presence of both the post office and the bank of the country.
 
 In 2002 the pharmacy became part of the group of pharmacies independent Pharmacies Spazio Salute to consolidate its position in the Ticino market and develop synergies with other colleagues.
 
 Bissone, located on the main motorway axis and thanks to its central position, is easily reachable both from Lugano and Mendrisio, so much so that the pharmacy can count customers coming from various neighboring municipalities. The convenient parking places in front of the pharmacy and 12 kindergartners of which 4 pharmacists allow to be served quickly without excessive waste of time.
 
 The pharmacy is active both in the traditional field as well as in the homeopathic one and has the most renowned cosmetic brands. The activity that distinguishes it is the search for foreign drugs or drugs no longer available on the Swiss market. A modern merchandising and targeted discounts on leading products await you.  This year, in addition to the 40th anniversary of the pharmacy, the indescribable loyalty of several pharmacy employees has been celebrated, starting from the 30 years of Margherita Casellini (secretariat and logistics), passing to the 20 years of Dr. Victoria Tettamanti (pharmacist) to reach 10 years of Dr. Michela Albisetti (pharmacist) and Paola Mandelli Solcà (Secretariat Spazio Salute), the pharmacy thanks the 4 collaborators for the always exceptional commitment and it is thanks to their loyalty, perseverance and continuity that the pharmacy has been able to develop and grow in years . Thank you all for these first 40 years.
