When she was just a child, Lluvia's life was shaken by a terrible tragedy. Since that fateful moment, he has done nothing but stumble from the hand of an aunt who had never asked for such responsibility and for which he was clearly not prepared. Recently, however, things seem to be getting better. The last move has taken them both to a city where they have managed to take root. Lluvia has known friendship and is experiencing the sweet moments of first love. But all of that is reeling when a mysterious secret organization appears on the scene that seems to have information about the girl's past. Rain will risk everything with the hope of obtaining long-awaited answers.

That is the argument of Kryptos, the first volume of the Cycle of the Guardians of Order, by Ximo Cerdà.

Kryptos is not a normal book and should not be read in the usual way, sequentially from the first to the last page. If you proceed in this way, the story will not make any sense, since the chapters that compose it have been located disorderly. Kryptos has been conceived to become an interactive and challenging experience in which the reader is the true protagonist.

Thus, in this novel the reader is not limited to reading how the characters of the story solve the riddles that are being found, but he adopts the main role and faces the puzzles, riddles and riddles that come to pass.

This free application is an integral part of the reading experience. At times the text reaches a page marked with the Kryptos symbol, which means that, throughout the preceding pages, an enigma has been raised that the reader must resolve to be able to continue. If you think you have solved the riddle, run the application and enter the "Enter code" section. If you have found the correct answer, the application will tell you which page you should continue reading.

Some of the puzzles make use of the Augmented Reality capabilities of the device. To face them, within the application, press "Explore environment" and observe reality from another point of view. Other enigmas must be solved using the information included in the book itself, dubbing, tearing, striking or cutting any of its pages. Not only is it allowed, but sometimes it is the only way to solve the problem.

It is also possible that, at some point, you feel stuck or you do not know how to continue. If that happens to you, do not worry. Within the application, go to the "Get track" section and enter the number of the page you are on. You will be provided with a series of clues associated with the enigma that you must solve. You can decide how many clues to use, or even if you want the solution to be revealed to you. The difficulty of moving on the pages of Kryptos depends entirely on you.
