ABADETM is a search and diagnostic aid application in movement disorders.

ABADETM DOES NOT ESTABLISH THE DIAGNOSIS, it only guides the neurologist in the search for it.

ABADETM collects more than 200 diseases and syndromes that can be searched (search option) by means of its own denomination or through keywords.

The diagnostic help / guidance option is a check-box system that allows you to mark one or several simultaneous options in each of the 6 domains and subdomains of which it consists:

1.- Condition: hereditary (dominant, recessive, linked to X and mitochondrial) or acquired. In case of not being sure of the type of inheritance it is recommended to mark only the hereditary option. In case of not having clear the condition it is recommended to leave the domain without marking.

2.- Age of onset: in plurisintomatic charts of chronic evolution, the age at onset is considered to be the one in which the first symptoms appear. In case of not having clear the age of beginning it is recommended to leave the domain without marking.

3.- Start form:

Acute: the entire symptomatic spectrum appears over the course of a few days

Subacute: the entire symptomatic spectrum appears over the course of a few weeks.

Insidious: the symptomatology appears in the course of months or years.

4.- Symptomatology: includes the different types of movement disorders (ataxia, chorea, dystonia, myoclonus, parkinsonism, non-Parkinsonian tremor and tics) and another series of signs or symptoms that, with relative frequency, complete the clinical spectrum of the different syndromes and diseases. In this domain, it is recommended to take into account the existence of comorbidity because to mark an option that is caused by another coexisting pathology can exclude a specific syndrome or disease (eg, a long-standing diabetic patient with idiopathic Parkinson's disease). suffer a metabolic polyneuropathy unrelated to Parkinson's disease, so the polyneuropathy option should not be marked in the other subdomain). In this domain, it is also recommended to take into account the existence of comorbidity that may cause alterations in neuroimaging that are not characteristic of syndromes or diseases with movement disorders.
