The monthly pass (from μηναιον - month) contains variable prayers for each day of the year, according to the dates of each month, for fixed holidays (that is, those that always come on a certain day in a certain month). Therefore, the monthly pass, in accordance with the number of months in the year, consists of twelve books. At the end of each book, special Easter songs of the Mother of God are printed, or the so-called dogmatists, the Virgin Easter which is sung after the verses on the verses, the Virgin who is sung "when there is 'Glory' to the saint in Minneapolis"; then the Forgiveness of the Mother of God which is sung after the troparion on Sundays and holidays, and the Forgiveness of the Mother of God which is sung on ordinary days after the troparion.
In addition to the monthly Minay, there is also the so-called holiday Minay, or "Anthology", or "Trefologion", "Flower Book", which contains services selected from the monthly Minay for the Lord's, the Mother of God's and especially revered holidays as part of some saints.
The General Minay contains variable prayers not for each saint separately, as a monthly Minay, but for each word of the saints separately, for example, a general service for apostles, martyrs, saints, etc. In addition to the services to the saints, it also contains the general order of the feasts of the Lord, the Mother of God, the cross, angels, forerunners and councils.
General Minay has a dual use; first, it is necessary in addition to the monthly Minay, when a service is to be performed to those saints for whom no special service has been written in the monthly Minay; secondly, in poor churches, where there is no complete set of liturgical books, the general Minay serves as a substitute for the twelve volumes of the monthly Minay.
There is also an additional Minay, with services to recently celebrated saints, which for that reason did not enter the monthly Minay.

The Minej program also contains:

- The program also contains an Orthodox church calendar with fasting dates throughout the year.
- The Orthodox Church calendar automatically adjusts moving holidays and fasts for each year according to Easter.
- On the calendar there is also a schedule of reading the apostles and the gospel for each day of the year. Users can read the beginning of the apostles and the gospel in a very easy way by clicking on the link for the current day.
- In the part of various books there are the Holy Scriptures, triods of fasting and flowers, octoich, interpretations of the Holy Scriptures, books on fasting and confession ....
