“ Mobile Solution for Information and Care of Children Suffering from Cancer.” is a smartphone application available for android smartphones and tablets. It is an application developed keeping in mind the need of the hour to create awareness about Cancer, its treatment and care. The application is developed in a basic User Interface manner, as the end user would mainly be people from rural areas of India where one would tend to face network constraints.

The app would currently be available in 4 basic Indian languages viz Hindi / Marathi / Bengali and English. The application will have 4 modules—the first being Videos -- What is Cancer. This is an animated version of the book in the 4 basic languages via youtube. The second module is an e-book version for ‘ A Parents Guide to Childhood Cancer”. This too will be available in 4 languages. This book has already been developed and compiled by St. Jude India ChildCare Centres.

Third module will be Information about our Web and Social Media Presences. The Fourth module will provide contact information enabling a user to reach us directly.

Ignorant families do not bring their children for treatment as they consider cancer an incurable disease and treatment is beyond their reach. The truth is that 80% of childhood cancers
are curable and help, by way of finances at large treatment centres like Tata Memorial Hospital and AIIMS, and free holistic support from St.Jude India ChildCare Centres is available for them.
