Classification of birds by colors
In this list we show you the tropical birds organized according to the color of the birds.

The electric colors of the feathers of these birds usually combine red and green, as in the case of lovebirds, but also blue and yellow, as in the macaws. And there are little birds, such as Gould's diamond, rainbow lory or quetzal, which have between three and six colors.

As in many other species of nature, males are more striking than females, since their color is one of the factors that make them choose "the best game" in mating season.

However, there are birds in this classification that do not stand out because of their colors. So why are they considered exotic?

Natural Habitats of Exotic Birds
Here we show you some of the places where exotic birds live in an autochthonous way.

Among the countries that offer more exotic species to the world, those that have tropical forests are the first, since they are the place of origin of a large number of these birds. For example, the turpial is the national bird of Venezuela, where the cute cardinal also lives.

The quetzal is found in the jungles of Guatemala, Mexico and Costa Rica, a country where we can also find more than forty species of hummingbird and several species of toucan.

But if we talk about the jungle, we can not stop talking about Brazil, since it ranks third in terms of the number of individuals in South America. And it has the Amazon rainforest, where, for example, the pendulous bird lives, a species that also inhabits other areas of Central America and the Caribbean islands.

The hyacinth macaw has fewer trees to nest due to deforestation caused by livestock, fires and hydrographic plans in the country.

Colombia has become a must for birds that migrate in America and, with 20% of the world population of birds, it is a paradise for bird lovers.

A curious and endemic species of the place is the red-backed tucancito. And, without going into detail, we can find many species, with more types of toucans, macaws, parrots, etc.

Other parts of the world can also be included, since the cockatoos, like the budgies, come from Australia. And there are birds that are part of this classification, as well as pigeons, waders, ducks and some gallinaceous, whose habitats are scattered all over the globe.
