In 1959, Erich Meier began his training as agricultural machinery mechanic at the agricultural machinery dealer Carl Wilhelm Müller (Hanomag dealer), Nordstemmen, and successfully completed it in 1962.

In 1964 he moved to the agricultural and construction machinery manufacturer Rheinstahl Hanomag in Hanover. The activity there was now in the replacement engine department. Disassembly and assembly of Hanomag and Henschel replacement engines.

In 1981, an independent business was registered. Values ​​such as honesty, reliability, cleanliness and customer proximity characterize company life right from the start. Furthermore also employed at Hanomag (Massey Ferguson - Hanomag Inc.).

In 1987 Erich Meier left Hanomag (IBH) and from then on only took care of the spare parts supply for Hanomag construction machinery and agricultural machinery with his wife Beate Meier.

In 1993, the retail trade transformed it into MDM Handelsgesellschaft mbH, still today's Meier Diesel engine. MDM has only sold your products to well-known construction and agricultural machinery dealers. Among others the company Kraemer Baumaschinen in Rheda-Wiedenbrueck, Fasieco (finger) construction machines in Cologne, company Wilhelm Fricke (granite parts) in Heeslingen and some more.

In 1999, the son André Meier (Business Management IT Management) joined the company to support his parents.

In 2009, MDM restructured and products were now sold to private individuals. In addition, the delivery range was greatly expanded. What used to be only Hanomag engines and spare parts have now become replacement parts for Case / IH (CNH), Claas, David Brown, Deutz / KHD, Fendt, Fiatagri, Ford / New Holland, John Deere, Leyland, Massey Ferguson / MF, Perkins , Renault, Zetor sold. An Internet shop was set up. Which is accessible to everyone. The product range expansion is progressing.

From 2010 will be exported worldwide.

Since 2011 our customers can also buy Komatsu and Liebherr original parts.

In 2016, MDM will take over all customers and suppliers of Michael Kumer Baumaschinen, Seelze. ZF spare parts are now also delivered.

In 2017 there will be over 10,000 customers who are satisfied with the products and service of MDM parts.

We will continue to expand our product range and ensure satisfied customers in the future.
