d'Masiv (also written D'MASIV) is a music group from Indonesia based in Jakarta. Its members are 5 people namely Rian Ekky Pradipta (vocal), Dwiki Aditya Marsall (guitar), Nurul Damar Ramadan (guitar), Rayyi Kurniawan Iskandar Dinata (bass), and Wahyu Piadji (drums). The name d'Masiv was later aligned with "top" Indonesian bands such as Ungu, Nidji, or Noah because of the popularity of their songs.
d'Masiv was first formed on March 3, 2003. The name d'Masiv itself comes from the word "massive" as a kind of hope for achieving the best results possible in the national music scene. Their names began to soar after successfully winning the A Mild Live Wanted music competition in 2007. d'Masiv finally released their first album titled "Changes" in 2008 with the song "Love Is Killing Me" as its flagship song. This song is so popular that it has catapulted their name to the national music scene. At the end of 2008, d'Masiv created a gathering place for its fans with the name Masiver. [1]
In 2009, d'Masiv released a new mini album containing 2 songs entitled "Mohon Ampun Aku" and "Never Give Up". According to Rian, d'Masiv vocalist, the process of making this mini album was very short and was released to meet the Ramadan 1430 H which fell towards the end of August 2009
Vagetoz is a music group from Cisaat, Sukabumi who lives in Jakarta. This music group was formed in 1999. Its members number 6 people, Teguh Permana (vocal), Acep Gunawan aka Son! (guitar), Irman alias Nuki (guitar), Budi aka Eboth (bass), Rudi aka Iday (drum). His first album was Something Yang Beda released in 2007. Before joining Sony BMG and releasing their first album, in 2004 Vagetoz had recorded a compilation album with one single, "I Should Go".

The name Vagetoz itself is taken from the word Pageto (Sundanese) which means Lusa. because when they wanted to practice, they said "Pageto wae latihana" ("The day after the practice")

In 2008, Vagetoz returned with a religious album titled Strengthen Me, which presented 8 songs and 4 songs in karaoke format. This album was created based on the personal inspiration of Vagetoz personnel in pursuing their spiritual journey. The release of this album also coincides with a novel entitled Strengthen Me: Spiritual Notes and Creativity of Vagetoz published by DAR! Mizan
