In this post, I am going to show you how to install VirtCello v1 on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install VirtCello v1 using BlueStacks

Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
Once installed, click "VirtCello v1" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

VirtCello v1 (c) PGBapps, is an app for emulating the sound of the Cello. This Cello is a musical instrument with a twist. Use of orientation sensor and a tilt of the device changes the Cello fingerboard notes, while accelerometer allows for reverberation. This version 1 app makes use of four main buttons for the four Cello strings (and three between buttons for double bowing strings), and tilting/twisting the device changes the notes.

This version is simple and fun, and you can invent your own edgy musical tunes with it. If you are interested in more sophistication, look for VirtCello v2 which gives you more control of the fingerboard.

Features and Description

- Fingerboard strings/notes with tilt/twist of the device.

- Reverb slider setting to adjust reverb sensitivity or turn on/off reverb. Press a note button and shake the device.
- Visible displays showing reverb and sensitivity, and fingerboard position (from tilt or slider).
- Settings include display mode on/off or partial, and throttle level for adjusting to older devices.
- Settings also include reverb Y or X **** to adjust for smartphones and tablets.

Instructions

The app is written to be played holding the device horizontally, and tilting/twisting the device up/down (along the Y or long ****, or X **** on some devices) to change the fingerboard notes, and to gently shake the device left/right to enable reverb. Device Recommendations:

This app has been tested with Android Jellybean, IceCreamSandwich, and Froyo, but is best recommended for JellyBean and KitKat devices. The settings for display mode, throttle level and audio method are provided to help with older devices as needed. High throttle equals lower processing for the app on the device.
