Step By Step Guide To Install VR Guide: Dublin using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. The MotorCo VR Guide to Dublin application is an extensive location based and Virtual guide to many of the wonderful sites in the city.

The app tells the user their relative proximity, from nearest to furthest, to the different parks, amusements, restaurants and pubs in the city. This app also provides more detailed information on each activity. The specific attraction details are wired with a live Google map (see the button below) to the particular attraction, giving exact directions, and the attraction has a virtual simulation of the attraction, hotel or restaurant, which will help you plan.

This is the free version, which has ads, but no registration or sharing of the user's location.

It's not designed only to lead a pub crawl, but you could use it that way, as many of Dublin's famous pubs are profiled in the app. It will show you which places are nearby.

The attractions profiled are:

Guinness Storehouse, Dublin Zoo, National Aquatic Center, Book of Kells, National Gallery of Ireland, National Botanic Gardens, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Science Gallery at Trinity College, Farmleigh House, Kilmainham Gaol, Glasnevin Cemetery Museum, St. Stephen's Green, Croke Park Stadium, Chester Beatty Library, Little Museum of Dublin, Phoenix Park, Irish Whiskey Museum and the Dublin Writers Museum.
