This app allows us to locate mentally ill who are likely to become disoriented and lost. It is specially designed for Alzheimer patients, which are usually the elderly, hence the name of the app.
We can set up a security perimeter from a given point. This may be the size in meters deem appropriate.
If the patient leaves the perimeter, we would be informed by email, SMS, or both. Explicándosenos that patient is, where and how far it is, and what is their number (if calling is useful). Likewise, an audible warning to the patient and optionally other is also set for help.
If it remains outside the perimeter we will be regularly informed of their position with the same previously chosen format (email, SMS, or both). We can define the periodicity of these messages in minutes. For each message there will be an audible message as we have defined, with or without request for help. The reason for allowing the request for assistance is optional, is that report that there is a particularly vulnerable person with a smartphone may not be a good idea depending on the danger zone and consequently leave it to the discretion of the configurator user.
