In this post, I am going to show you how to install Westeifel-3D on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Westeifel-3D using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Westeifel-3D" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

The Westeifel Werke, a market leader in the field of open space equipment, now also with augmented reality app for the open space area. With this app, city planners, architects or gardeners and landscapers have the opportunity to virtually project benches of the Westeifel plants into a real environment and to adapt them to the environment in real size, color and design according to their wishes and individual ideas.
This requires a marker card, which is stored in the app via the menu function as a download or by e-mail for printing. Subsequently, the printed marker card is placed at the place where the Bank of the Westeifel Werke is to stand in the future. At this point, the selected bank now appears as a 3D representation. Users can now move the bank with gesture control, zoom in or out, turn and as a special highlight, change the material of the bench feet and wood support and color them to your liking. This gives a direct and visual impression of how the bank looks and works at the desired location.
Short description of the gesture control:
Touching the seat cushion or bench foot opens a color palette. Simply tap to select the color you want and the bank will be configured in the appropriate color.
Hold with one finger on the product and the bank model can be moved.
To change the size of the bank model, with three fingers pulling apart or pushing together.
To rotate the bench model, simply hold two fingers on the product and turn in the desired direction.
A detailed description with drawings for the gesture control is stored in the app.

Some of the models have already won various design awards, including the Red Dot Design Award for Cado, Tecto and Versio. The Campus levis modular system was awarded the Red Dot Design Award and the German Design Award in 2017. Extensions with new products are planned.
