With the sustained interest in the great vital truths of justification by faith and sanctification, it may be appropriate to pay additional attention to the way the messenger of the Lord exposed them over the years.

In order to offer this panorama of their teachings, the Trustees of the White Estate have gathered here 18 readings, which begin in 1881 and extend until 1902, arranged merely in chronological order.

His sermons and articles consistently delineate the basic truths of salvation as formulated in the Law and the Gospel those published in the Review and Herald for the Church, and those of Signs of the Times appropriate, at the same time, for the world.

Many of the readings appear complete, while others, for reasons of space, were shortened to include only the part generally, most of it - related to faith and works. The subtitles, and in a number of cases the chapter titles, have been added by the compilers.

These have not tried to be exhaustive. Mrs. White's books and many of her sermons and articles deal with these vital truths. Anyone who examines these readings will clearly understand the importance that this topic has for each Christian.
