Radio Cultura 680 AM radio station began on December 9, 1949. Before being part of the Correio do Estado Group, the station was run by Cadeia Amarela, of the Bandeirantes Group. Twenty years later, the Correio do Estado Group bought Radio Cultura. With a competent team of communicators, Radio Cultura has always guaranteed quality programming and satisfying listeners. Journalism has always been the brand's strong brand with a lot of credibility, service provision, politics and opinion.
        In 2009, Luciano Medeiros Barbosa Rodrigues, grandson of José Barbosa Rodrigues and son of José Maria Rodrigues, assumed the General Direction of the station investing in the modernization of the station. It was on August 1, 2017 that the Businessman faced personal and market positioning, decided to transform Rádio AM Cultura into Rádio Hora, with the proposal to be the first 100% Interdenominational Christian Radio of Mato Grosso do Sul. last IBGE census of 2010, the number of evangelical Christians in the country grew 61% in 10 years.
          It was on November 7, 2016 that President Michel Temer signed an additive term that authorized the migration of 240 AM (Modulated Amplitude) radios to the FM (Modulated Frequency) band. The migration from AM to FM radios was triggered by a decree signed in 2013 by former President Dilma Rousseff. On April 16, 2018, Rádio Hora began to be transmitted through the Modulated Frequency - FM. Due to the great growth, the businessman Luciano Medeiros Barbosa Rodrigues, decided to create the Hora Group and launch the Portal (www.horanoticias.com.br), with a lot of information, credibility and reference in a vehicle of Christian communication.
      With the slogan "Radio for those who pray and worship at all times", the station is Family Radio and has the social responsibility to play a role with Christian principles and family values. The objective is to raise new horizons of the South-Mato Grosso Capital, preserve good quality and maintain the historical tradition. In this way Journalism continues being the trademark with principles of taking news that builds to more than 1 million listeners in all Mato Grosso do Sul.
