The Book of Changes is one of the greatest and, at the same time, the most mysterious creations of man. From the point of view of the Chinese culture, the oldest of the existing cultures, it is a creation that captures the mystery of the universe in special symbols and signs. The Book of Changes is one of the spiritual wonders of the world.

The book includes the canonical and commentary parts. The specific basis of the I Ching is 64 hexagrams — special graphic symbols consisting of six features of two types located one above the other (interrupted and interrupted in the middle) in various combinations. The traits are interpreted as signs of universal world-building forces YIN and YANG, and their combinations as signs of more concrete incarnations YIN and YANG in all spheres of being. The central role in this system is played by 8 trigrams - combinations of three features, considered as half components of hexagrams and signifying an octal set of universals.

A simplified version of divination begins with the fact that you formulate the question that currently holds you the most. Then you need to alternately flip three coins (six times) to get six features for drawing up the hexagram. If two or three coins fall upwards with an "eagle", draw a solid line on the paper, if you fall with a "tails" - draw an intermittent. Traits are located one above the other, starting from the bottom. After the hexagram is composed, it is necessary to find its number in the table. To do this, divide it in half and find its upper part among the trigrams placed horizontally and the lower one vertically. At the point of intersection there will be the number of the desired hexagram.

It now remains to look only at the explanatory text relating to it - the interpretation.

It is also recommended to consider the following:
1. Do not ask the Book of Changes the same question again, even if you are not satisfied with the answer or it seemed too gloomy to you;
2. During the same session, you should ask only one question;
3. If hexagram number 3, 29, 39 or 47 has fallen, do not be discouraged! Take note of the recommendations in the text. All that is done, all the better.
