In this post, I am going to show you how to install Pure Writer X - Material Design 2 on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, LDPlayer, Nox, KOPlayer, ...

Before you start, you will need to download the APK/XAPK installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview of how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it - you see you're playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Pure Writer X - Material Design 2 using BlueStacks

  1. Download and Install BlueStacks at: https://www.bluestacks.com. The installation procedure is quite simple. After successful installation, open the Bluestacks emulator. It may take some time to load the Bluestacks app initially. Once it is opened, you should be able to see the Home screen of Bluestacks.
  2. Open the APK/XAPK file: Double-click the APK/XAPK file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your APK/XAPK file doesn't automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with... Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the APK/XAPK file onto the BlueStacks home screen
  3. Once installed, click "Pure Writer X - Material Design 2" icon on the home screen to start using, it'll work like a charm :D

This is a special edition of Pure Writer that implements a new Material Design 2 design.

Material Design 2 brings a new full-screen immersion paper and a transparent top bar for a more fresh look.

However, at the same time, there may be many problems with the new design, so this version is an experimental version of Pure Writer, which may have some UI visual problems. In addition, as the author of Pure Writer, I prefer the original Pure Writer design, which is more eye-catching and focused on text content, so this version is actually developed in response to the strong demands of a small number of users. It requires a lot of extra development costs, and it's not easy to provide, and since there will be two Pure Writer versions now, the work of developers may multiply.

Because of this, Pure Writer X will recommend you to pay for it, but you can still have a lot of time to experience and make a final payment decision. Please try to support it. If the statistics show that the proportion of users who are willing to pay is small, the developer may cancel or stop maintaining the Pure Writer X. * If you have not tried the original Pure Writer, which is not a Material Design 2 version, it is highly recommended that you consider trying it before using this X version. You can download the latest version of Pure Writer on Google Play or coolapk.com.

* Note: The transparent top bar is only valid under Android 9.0.

* If you are from the original Pure Writer, you can enter Settings - Backup - Restore Backup, select your cloud backup (requires login to WebDAV first) or local backup file, then you will be able to recover all data content from the original Pure Writer.

* If you have already paid for the original Pure Writer, you will need to re-pay for Pro after moving to Pure Writer X. I have to do this because of technical problems and troubles. I am so sorry and thank you very much!
