Judo Sports. This martial sport is famous in Japan in the early 12th century with the name jujitsu as a special martial art for the military, in order to deal with samurai forces. In the 17th century, namely the Tokugawa Emperor period, judo was known as a martial arts sport to shape the character of one's personality. In 1877, a man named Jigoro Kano could improve jujitsu techniques into judo, "Ju" means soft or smooth, and "Do" means the way or the way.

The development of judo in Indonesia began in 1949 by a Dutchman J. Dick Schilder with the Judo Jigoro Kano Kwai association in Jakarta, Medan, Surabaya, Solo and Bandung. On December 25, 1955, the PJSI organization was established, which stands for Persatuan Judo throughout Indonesia.

Judo slamming techniques (nage waza) can be divided into standing techniques (tachi waza) and flopping techniques (sutemi waza). The standing technique is divided into hand techniques (te waza), groin techniques (koshi waza), and foot techniques (ashi waza). The technique of flopping is further divided into techniques of flopping backwards (ma sutemi waza) and techniques of flopping to the side (yoko sutemi waza).
