Meggy Zakaria (born in Jakarta, August 24, 1945 - died in Depok, West Java, October 21, 2009 at the age of 64) is a dangdut singer and actor. He is very well known to the public as a dangdut singer, besides that it is also known as an actor in soap operas and feature films.

Meggy Z is a senior dangdut singer, although he also tries out the world of acting, but the prestige is more in the world of dangdut music. Meggy's loyalty in the world of dangdut has also been recognized.

At the 1997 TPI Dangdut Award, he was awarded the Best Dangdut Recording Singer. Through Blue Thread, a year later, in 2003, this song became the Best Dangdut Song in the 1998 TPI Dangdut Award. Besides being a favorite of judges, this song was also a favorite of the country's dangdut fans.

Although at that time male dangdut singers began to appear, but he is still a favorite. One of them was proven by the success of becoming the Favorite Male Singer through his song, Excuse me at the same event in 2002.

Wednesday night, October 21, 2009, Meggy passed away to Rahmatullah. Around 23.30 WIB, Meggy breathed his last breath at Margonda Hospital, Depok accompanied by his wife and children. The plan, the deceased's body will be buried in his residence in Cipayung.
