History of origami

After years later, around 741 AD, the tradition of folding paper began to enter Japan. This starts with the frequent Japanese society making a cover of a bottle of sake (Japanese wine) from folded paper.
Then the art of folding paper is increasingly being done in Japan and at that time it was known as orikata, orisui, and orimono. Then in 1880, this form of art was more often called origami by the people, other titles such as orikata, orisui, and orimono began to be forgotten.
The word origami consists of the word 'ori' which means 'fold' and 'we' which means 'paper'. The material used is paper or square cloth and folded into certain shapes as desired.

Origami is a folding art originating from Japan. The material used is paper or cloth that is usually square. An origami result is the work of the hand that is very thorough and smooth at sight.
In general, to make origami, we can use plain paper, but most origami in Japan use paper specifically for origami.
