Having as background the war of independence of Greece, a pirate ship commanded by the terrible Sacratif is dedicated to sell Greek prisoners as slaves in Tripoli.

 A Corfu banker, Elizundo, has become rich thanks to piracy. Wanting to leave his beautiful daughter married to a good man, he pacts the marriage with a French soldier.
